Music-Lod
Project for musically excelling youth, playing jazz and light music
Music-Lod is in its sixth year as the leading social project of the Lod Community Foundation for Jazz and Contemporary Music. In the framework of the project, 30 youth who excel in music receive three-year scholarships for musical training in jazz and light music.
The program is conducted in the Lod Municipal Orchestra House. It includes five weekly hours of private instrumental lessons for each student, theory, and ensemble sessions conducted by master teachers. The students get professional training and continuous supervision and perform at municipal events.
